Welcome to Burger Town
Travel + Leisure readers gave Savannah the #12 spot for "America's Best Burger Cities," citing Green Truck Pub's very own Trailer Park burger to back up that claim. Full story at the link above.

Beer... and turkey
Summer seasonals are in the tap rotation and the turkey reuben is back on the specials board, featuring local pasture-raised turkey, house-made thousand island dressing, and thick sliced rye.
Rare Beer Alert:
We just tapped the only keg of Allagash Old HLT to hit Savannah. It's an American Sour Ale aged 2 years(!) with cherries, clocking in at 8.07% ABV. Cheers!

Closing Early Today
We will be closing up at 4pm today (Tuesday Dec 6) for our annual staff holday party. We'll be resuming normal business hours tomorrow through the rest of the week.
Hey... we were on TV!
If you live in the Savannah area and have a television you may have seen this already... but for those who don't we were featured on Jesse Blanco's local food show Eat It and Like It. This was the "burgers" episode and includes a segment filmed at Green Truck, incuding a behind-the-scenes look in the kitchen.
Catch the whole episode here!
Trucker's Day Out
We took a little staff field trip last Monday to Hunter Cattle Company, the farm from which we get our grassfed beef and pastured bacon. It was a great day (if a little rainy) and we want to thank the Ferguson family for hosting and spending their day with us (not to mention the grassfed beef fajitas they made us for lunch!) It felt especially meaningful to see how we are all part of the local food system and to see some of the reasons why local is better.
